Who we are
FireMenu (“we”, “us”) provides restaurant point-of-sale software, documentation, and related services. Our public website is firemenu.net. The production web application is operated at a separate subdomain (for example es.firemenu.app) and may be covered by additional notices when you sign in.
For questions about this policy or your personal data, contact us at support@firemenu.app.
Scope
This privacy policy applies to information we process in connection with:
- Visiting or browsing firemenu.net (including localized pages)
- Requesting a demo, submitting the contact form, or applying as a partner through our marketing site
- Email or other messages you send to addresses we publish
Data we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may process:
- Account and identity data: name, email address, phone number, company or venue name, and the content of messages you send us
- Technical data: IP address, approximate location derived from IP, browser type, device type, referrer URL, and pages viewed
- Communications metadata: timestamps and message status when you use our forms
How we use your data
We use personal data only where we have a valid reason, including:
- To respond to demo requests, contact messages, and partner applications
- To operate, secure, and improve the marketing site and our services
- To comply with legal obligations and protect our legitimate interests (for example fraud prevention and network security)
- Where applicable, with your consent (for example certain cookies or marketing communications, if offered)
Cookies and analytics
We may use cookies or similar technologies to remember preferences, measure traffic, and understand how visitors use our pages. Where required by law, we will request your consent before using non-essential cookies.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may limit certain features.
Sharing and subprocessors
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Service providers who host our site, deliver email, provide analytics, or help us operate our business — under contracts that require them to protect data and use it only for the services they perform for us
- Authorities when we believe disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, or security
International transfers
Our providers may process data in the European Economic Area or other countries. Where we transfer personal data outside the EEA, we use appropriate safeguards recognized by applicable law (such as standard contractual clauses) when required.
Retention
We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required by law. Form submissions and related correspondence are typically kept for the time needed to handle your request and for a limited period afterward for legitimate business and legal purposes.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
To exercise your rights, email support@firemenu.app. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
Children
Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and adjust the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the site after changes means you acknowledge the updated policy.
