Authorization
To use venues in the FireMenu web app, you need a user profile, created or confirmed with Google or a phone number (SMS code). There is no separate password field on this screen—those are the two supported paths.
After a successful login you usually land on My restaurants or a prompt to create a restaurant—see Create venues.

Why you sign in
Once authenticated, FireMenu links you to a user record (email or phone) and shows venues you can access. Without this step you stay on the sign-in page with the FireMenu logo.
Google: one flow
- Open the Registration or Sign in tab (the Google button label changes accordingly).
- Tap Sign up with Google or Sign in with Google.
- Pick the Google account and approve access.
For a first-time email, FireMenu creates your user profile. If the profile already exists, you continue into the app once data has loaded.
Phone: SMS code
Sign up with your phone
On the Registration tab:
- Fill in Name, Email, and Phone (international format—check country and prefix in the phone field).
- Tap Sign up—a security check runs in the background and an SMS with a code is sent.
- You see SMS Code and text like An SMS code has been sent to your phone number. Enter six digits and tap Confirm.
Below the form, By registering, you agree to: appears with links to terms and conditions, privacy policy, and cookie policy (they open on the FireMenu site).
Sign in with your phone
On the Sign in tab:
- Enter Phone and tap Sign in to receive the SMS.
- Enter the six-digit SMS Code and tap Confirm.
If there is no profile yet for that number, after the code is checked the app may prompt you to register (a message like It seems there is no account like that. Let’s register? and the Registration tab opens)—add Name and Email and finish registration with the same phone.
Registration and Sign in tabs
- Registration—first-time setup: name, email, phone (or Google).
- Sign in—for people who already registered with the same phone, or for Google sign-in.
Important: switching between Registration and Sign in clears the current sign-in attempt (for example if an SMS step was already started). If fields “disappear”, repeat the phone step.
While you are on Registration with the SMS code step open, the Sign in tab is temporarily disabled—confirm the code first.
Interface language
The sign-in page has a language control in the top-right corner (UK/EN/ES/RU labels for buttons and messages).
Signing out
After you are inside a venue, use the profile menu (header avatar) and Sing out (label in the English UI) to return to the sign-in screen. On shared PCs, sign out at the end of a shift.
Common situations
- No SMS. Check country code and number, carrier delays, and spam; send again with Sign in / Sign up after a short wait.
- Error right after the phone button. Often a carrier or anti-abuse limitation; retry later or use Google.
- Something went wrong on the code step. Make sure you entered six digits of the latest code; request a new SMS by submitting the phone step again.
- Signed in but no venues. Normal for a new account—tap Create restaurant and follow Create venues.
- Switched tabs and lost the number or code. Tab changes reset the flow by design; start the phone step again.
