Product settings

This screen is your product catalog for items that work as ingredients in dishes and semifinished goods and as stock items: balances move on Storages, you create Supply documents and run Inventory against them.

The page is on the Pro plan. The worker profile needs Menu and product settings — otherwise the menu entry is hidden.

Why fill in each product

Semifinished settings are a separate catalog for in-house production — do not mix with this product list.

How to open it

In the sidebar, under Settings, choose Products.

Product list

Search by name, filter by category or supplier, review unit, packaging (quantity per purchase pack), article code, and open edit.

Add a product opens the same form as the row edit control, for a new record.

Product form

The dialog title is Product. For a new item the primary button is Add; for an existing one — Save changes.

Fields

FieldRole
ImageVisual distinction in the list; stored in app file storage.
NameRequired. You cannot create two products with the same name in one venue — a duplicate error appears.
CategoryFree text with autocomplete from categories already used.
Unitpc, g, or ml — drives how quantities display in stock and in the threshold fields.
Quantity per packageOptional: how many units are in one purchase pack (e.g. one bottle = 700 ml). Helps enter quantities faster.
ProviderText with autocomplete from existing suppliers; you can type a new one.
ArticleInternal or supplier code for search and paperwork.
PriceTypical purchase price per unit of measure (not necessarily per multi-unit pack unless your process says otherwise). When you change price on an existing product, the form may show the previous price as helper text.

Below price you will see Minimum stock (all stores) and Recommended quantity (all stores):

Delete

Saved products show Remove — you must confirm. Delete only when the item is truly obsolete for recipes and stock; otherwise consider keeping the card and stopping purchases manually.
