Tech cards

Tech cards is where you define production costs: which products leave which storages when preparing menu items, business lunch options, and semi-finished products. FireMenu uses this data to move stock automatically during orders and kitchen production.

Menu structure (names, prices, categories, modifier labels) still lives under Main menu; the tech card covers composition and consumption only.

Requires Pro and Menu and product settings—the same credential as the product catalogue and menu editor.

How to open

In the sidebar under Settings, choose Tech cards.

Three tabs at the top:

TabWhat you edit
Menu itemsProduction costs for menu items
Set menusCosts for each option in business lunch slots
Semi-finished productsOutput products and input costs for semi-finished recipes

A table of all menu items: image, name (with section/category subtitle), cost chips, modifiers and variations, and edit.

Edit opens the dish tech card:

Each table: component, storage, quantity, optional packaging toggle; Add component; Add a storage from the storage picker.

Save with Save changes in the tech card dialog.

Editing from the menu item form

In Main menu, the Menu item dialog has Edit tech card. It opens the same window, but changes apply to the dish form only after Done in the tech card and Save changes on the menu item.

Set menus tab

Each row is one option in a business lunch slot (subtitle: lunch name / slot). Edit opens a tech card with Costs of production for that option.

Lunch structure (slots, names, prices, delivery visibility) is still configured on the Menu page—see Business lunches.

Semi-finished products tab

The list and cards moved here from a separate menu item. Full field reference: Semifinished settings.
